Hard to stand on the sidelines, not be involved and determine the fault. I think people get frustrated if someone is willing to help but everything they try fails through no fault of their own and it still does not function properly. If those were the circumstances, I would not blame someone for wanting the company to do something more.

I was actually looking at them last night. They actually have an all stainless model. They are defiantly on the short list. The front runner right now is the Cookshack PG1000. They also have a Pellet Cabinet, I think it is the FEC 100? something like that. Thought the cabinet might be different.

Hi Dave,

To be clear, we don't expect you to "keep fixing" your grill. We are more than happy to help you find a solution to anything you've experienced, as our documented history of our communications with you amply demonstrates.

We would still be happy, in fact, for you to call us so we can reach a solution. In the event you won't do that, the best resolution is probably for you to sell your grill.

Our manufacturing process, our quality control procedures, and our choice of suppliers make us confident that any problem can be easily fixed with proper communication. Now and then something can slip through the cracks, but we've ensured that every standalone component of our grills is easily removed and replaced.

MAK Grills will work with any owner of a MAK Grill, whether the original or any subsequent owner, to resolve anything that might occur due to normal wear and tear, operator/user error, or component failure.

Please let us know if we can do anything to help.

Best Regards,
-The MAK Grills Team

It looks like they come in plum and almond wood. I've used both plum and almond wood chunks in my vertical cabinet smoker. Both kinds of wood generate extremely mild smoke flavor. They work well with fish and chicken, but I would never use the wood for beef or pork. Worth a try, but I would not be surprised if the smoke would be too mild in a pellet smoker.

Haha, look how solid that door is when he goes to shut it. You can see him have to muscle it from slamming. Looks like an incredible grill.

I would have gotten in line if I lived near Houston. But since Outlaw is just 20 minutes from my house and is also made of heavy gauge steel I decided to buy local.
