Happy phriday Pharkers. Tonight was simple but delicious burgers cooked on some oak lump on the performer. Tomorrow 14 lb brisket on the WSM. This will be my first brisket on the WSM so we’ll see how it goes. If the ribs I cooked on the WSM as her initial break in are any indication it should be great. Have a good weekend everyone.

Kind of like chili with very salty tortilla chips. Don't know if it's worth making myself again, but if I run across it somewhere, I'll eat it.

Grilled/ cooked yesterday. Found a small head of broccoli in the fridge. Today I’m Thinking garlicky broccoli cheese soup over hassehoff(sp) small golden potatoes topped with hickory smoked pork.
Option #2 in lieu of pulled pork use grilled shrimp.

Option #3 no meat.

Pondering

Smoking a pork butt and picnic SirPorkALot style. Will be enough meat to feed a couple of armies.

Just picked up 5 pork chops (6 lbs total). Now trying to figure out what to do with them in the rain.

I'm doing a fatty tomorrow. I'm using the Jimmy Dean sage flavored sausage. I've never tried it but hear it's really good. And of course the pepper jack and habanero cheese and the bacon weave. I may even throw some more SPAM on there with it. That stuff was excellent. My mouth is watering already.

Have Phun all y'alls!
Such a sweet lady and wonderful cook! :)

Sliced up a 45 day, dry aged slab of ribeye steaks this morning. I'll toss one on the grill tonight if I get the time. Can't think of a side that sounds good right now, so.... I'll probably go with a two finger sip of Crown.

Hope you're having a great weekend Phu and Brethren!
