Had a craving and acted.

Some 80/20 with S&P only.

Bacon fat on the CI griddle with the onions.

Flip the onions and move them back to make room for the meat!

Put the onion on top (I know different) then smash down.

Flip add some S&P and cheese.

I did smash burgers for the first time myself this week and I can almost taste those. They look great!
