Default This Cilantro Lime "Flank Steak Style" Sirloin (with Picanha!) Wasn't Terrible

Aldi has sirloin for $4.99 / lb every day here. The package we got had two small pieces huddled together, and SURPRISE!, a thick piece of picanha nestled in there too! We didn't hate it :) I'll have a short video of this cook on my channel later tonight (link in my signature line below).

Seasoning Rub:
Kosher salt to taste
Coarse black pepper to taste
Granulated Garlic to Taste
Onion Powder to Taste

Marinade:
3 TB Olive Oil
2 Whole limes sliced in half, squeezed and dropped in whole
4 green onion stalks coarse chopped for easy removal
Small bunch of cilantro rough chopped for easy removal
One Clove (Not HEAD!) of garlic cliced large for easy removal

Marinate for 3-6 hours. Do not bring up to room temp before grilling. Wipe steaks clean. Grill hot and fast over good quality charcoal. Slice thin against grain. Top salad. We did a very normal green salad with typical veggies, shredded cheese, and bacon bits, but added diced watermelon for a summer flair. Dress how you like. French's Fried Onions would be a great addition. BBQ Ranch. Chipotle Ranch. Bleu cheese. The options are endless. Go getcha some!

(Oh, and the chocolate bacon shake at the end didn't make me hate my life either.)
