Default Vortex Jah Love wings

Here is a little Jah Love jerk wings cooked around the Vortex with a chunk of pecan for smoke flavor. Seasoned and grilled fries with a side of celery and some blue cheese. This easy dinner was just right.

Looks fantastic! Did those wings spend a bit of time over direct heat? Or is that the result of intense indirect heat. Either way, you nailed it!

They weren't quite as dark as the pic shows but yes I did throw them over the center of the Vortex for just a few seconds. We like just a touch of char.

Thanks Jeanie. This was one of those just enough cooks. The only thing left was some celery. If there had been I would gladly put your name on them.

Looks great! I was all set to try wings and a dog bowl vortex at my friend's house Saturday night, but when I got there, no wings! She had thawed some 1" thick pork loin chops. Dauntless, we got a chimney of lump going, rubbed them down with some homemade Carne Crosta, and let me tell you, it is not just for steak!
