Default Faux Burnt ends

Going to a Nascar race on Sunday and wanted to bring something tasty for tailgating. Could some one instruct me on how to make Burnt ends out of a Chuck roast. I want to make them on Saturday and they would have to be reheated on Sunday. Thanks.

If it were me I'd treat it like a pork butt only take it off the pit when the IT is around 185-ish or so, cut it in to 1" cubes, hit the cubes with more rub and sauce, throw them in an aluminum pan, then back on the smoker until they're tender.
