I've been looking at the Mak lineup and Blazin way too much lately. The Yoder too.

Like Josh was sayin, that Yoder is a very good deal that Smitty has posted.

They prolly have the heaviest smoke profile of any of the pellet grills, they are a little hungry for pellets thou.

Trust me you will use it more than twice a year. Theyre too easy not to. Hell, cook lasagna in it.

It is certainly not the best or only way to cook but it a good one to have in your arsenal.

I purchased a Blazn' Grill Grand Slam from the St. Louis BBQ store last fall. They even threw it a truck, drove it to my house and set it up for me. Love those guys! Put a pork butt on it Tuesday night and it was ready for the cooler the next morning. First time in years I was not falling asleep before the fireworks display on the fourth. Very happy to have pellet pooper on hand.

Smitty - Ever think about converting an existing grill or smoker by adding pellet hopper? I have been contemplating it lately. Would be fun project plus I never liked the idea of how close the deflector pan is on a lot of pelllet cookers, frying the bottom of meat from below with too much radiant heat.

Here are a few creative examples. Looks pretty straightforward with Smoke Daddy hopper once you cut the hole.

I don’t have one I’d want to convert.......

I’m digging the PitBoss Copperhead Vertical Cabinet Poopers except it’s PitBoss.
Be Nice to see a Better Brand put one out - except they are Smokers only not grills....

But Wait - I’d forgotten Assassin already Has......sorta - and you can grill on it......

You need that grease slid there, trust me...... fire, grease, and a fan blowing on it won't be pretty otherwise.

Fair enough. You didn't reply in the other thread so I thought I would ask here.

I don't understand the motivation to have that many cookers but different strokes for different folks I guess

It’s a Hobby - trying n learning different cookers. I don’t play golf or video games or computer building - I don’t have motorcycles or Hotrods ( Wish I did ) n other things. Catfish for Bigguns in the Winter, Shoot Guns a lil bit and Cook n Play with Cookers/Smokers........
