I like the way you planned full access to the grate at the end

Most setups have those awkward little corners there that just get in the way. That's excellent design, there.

Thank you. The lid bail feature on the kettles has always bugged me. I usually end up putting the lid on the ground or a table. I suppose it's OK if you want to use the lid as a wind break, however my outdoor cook area is very wind protected & that's not an issue for me.

Made some more progress today. Top & face plates finished,







Ordered a propane burner:



Am going to mount it into a hinged/folding extension at the end of the table top. Will be able to fry, boil, fire a chimney & etc.

Just got a 26 bowl and lid off CL. This is the summer project, though mine will not be nearly this clean or pretty. Thnx for posting, terrific work.
