Finally got around to upgrading the new Fireboard wifi controller kit
Decided on making pork belly Bhan Mi (Vietnamese pork sammiches)
Cut about a 3lb piece of belly, seasoned it and threw it on
I could get used to this :grin: Integrated temp probe, being able to use wifi or bluetooth and more. Still messing with it but loving it. :thumb: Much more responsive and the ceramic burner ignites in a flash
In the meantime I pickled some daikon radish and carrots
Made some baguettes

Gotta try a piece on the spot :razz:
Mixed these for a little sweet and sour Asian style sauce
About 10 mins before pull
Pulled once the sauce set

Time to make a bhan mi sammich loaded with belly slices, mayo
Pickled daikon
Fresh cucumbers, jalapenos
Fresh cilantro, basil and a few drops of hoisin sauce
Oh baby!
Life almost doesn't get any better. Heaven on a bun!!!
