Every so often I see people post to ask about the capacity of a 26" kettle. I am posting is my Saturday night cook as a sample 26" cook:
Right tray to left:
2 lbs Creole Sausage
15 Stuffed Mushrooms
1 lb Chorizo
3 lbs Boneless Country Ribs
1 lb Boneless Skinless Chicken Thighs
3 lbs Chicken Wings
That's 10 lbs of meat, plus the mushrooms. I started with all of the meat spread out, then consolidated to make room for the mushrooms and asparagus (did I mention asparagus, too?).
Here's the result:
Bottom line, the 26" kettle is awesome and I highly recommend it.
