Looks yummy!

I love coffee ...black, all sweetened and whipped up, a good coffee beer, coffee chocolates, espresso beans. Never tried it in a rub.

My worst coffee experiment was a day I was lazy and in a hurry...
Cup of joe to make maple n brown sugar instant oatmeal.

I used Trader Joes Coffee Rub. It was good but I will add some more SPG next time.

A simple home made rub:
2 Tbsp Salt
1 Tbsp Pepper
2 tsp Garlic Powder
1 tsp Turbinado Sugar
1 tsp Coffee

Pretty dang good on burgers, too, if you get a good sear.

Welcome 308Fan

I’ve seen that rub at TJ’s. Thanks for review

Just FYI there’s a guns and ammo thread with lots of cool info. Perhaps you’re already there.

I enjoy using Espresso infused Sea Salt on beef. It is also known as chocalatiers salt. I buy it on Amazon. It looks pricey but it is rather strong so you do not use alot for each cook. I have not tried it on brisket yest but now it is on my list of things to try.

Thanks for sharing. I have a can of that stuff from TJ's in the cupboard someone gave me but never really wanted to try it until now.
