The 2022 Texas BBQ Brethren Spring Bash Planning

As most of you know me, I like to start planning the Bash early.
Both Pavilion and RV camping reservations go pretty quick at Isle du Bois.

As of today, I have April 9th, 2022 as a tentative date.
Monday I will call TPWD to reserve Pavilion 2.
It may change due to reservation availability.
Any input would be appreciated. :mrgreen:

Just let me know as soon as the date is confirmed because I will start getting on my wife's nerves so she'll say, "why don't you go to Texas for the weekend". And I can probably get a much better deal on a flight the earlier that I book it.

2022 Texas BBQ Brethren Spring Bash
Saturday April 9, 2022

Okay BBQ Brethren, I just received the reservation conformation from TDPW.

We will be at:

Ray Roberts Lake State Park
(Texas State Park entrance fee is $7.00 per adult. Exact change recommended)
Isle du Bois Unit, Group Picnic Pavilion 2
100 P W 4137 (Off of FM 455)
Pilot Point, TX 76258

We hope to see you there!
For those who would like to camp or bring your RV, I'd suggest you look at reservations as soon as possible.

It would be great to have a couple of UDS / Barrel guys cook at the Bash this year.
Possible some chicken, turkey breast, meatloaf or BB ribs. :mrgreen:
