Great looking plate Sako. What's in the bean salad? It looks interesting.

Smokie, I quoted Sako's post from page 1 in the event your query seemed out of sorts as we're now on page 2.

It's pretty simple with pinto beans, chopped onions and cilantro, salt, black pepper, paprika or cayenne for heat, a little bit of oil and a light squeeze of lemon (optional) to lighten it up.

If that's hammy enough, although to be honest I wish I'd have had more leftover (and weather would've allowed me to smoke the whole skillet).. |

Quick question. I am aware that the entry must be cooked in/on cast iron, but does the entry photo have to contain cast iron? Or is a “plated” version of the cooked item acceptable?

Since the category description did not specify, you don't have to show cast iron in your entry photo, but you certainly can if you like!

Hey guys,
It's been a long time since I've posted any photos. I thought there used to be a sticky somewhere, but I'm not able to find it. Are we still using Photobucket or something newer???? Please let me know. I've got a cast iron entry to post. Thanks.
