Winco had Tri-Tip on sale for $2.98/lb, so I grabbed three nice ones this weekend. After trimming, I dusted two of them with some rub, and placed the third in a freezer baggie for a crock pot dinner in the near future.

Looks very tasty
wish it was that cheap here

It fluctuates from $2.98 - $5.98, but We get it at the cheaper price several times a year. I used to buy it at the butcher shop, but it got up to $12.98 and it just wasn't worth it.

Was this cooked on your new Que Deville? Looks great.

No, just quick at high heat on the Weber gasser. Get the grill up to 400 or so, and slap em down. I usually cook them until I get an IT of about 125, but these went to 130 and then sat for about 10min.

I do have some planned for the new cabinet though. Hoping to have an actual BBQ with some friends later this summer. It'll be the first time I get to load the new cooker up.
