Brining in Game Changer. Not sure if I will charcoal grill or gas yet.

Serve with Strawberry Macadamia Blue Cheese salad and near the last of fresh picked corn. Got a dozen more ears from the last bushel of the year.

Charcoal it is - swapped out the Game Changer for Stubb's Citrus and Onion chicken marinade a couple hours ago. Browning it over direct, then move to indirect and add a piece of whatever wood is handy.

Thanks! The salad I stole from Dewey's Pizza - spring mix, macadamias, sliced up strawberries, blue cheese crumbles and a strawberry vinaigrette. Dewey's is great because everything is exceptionally fresh and high quality and they only lightly dress the salads.

Turned out great. Had to turn the heater on, but still a very nice dinner outside. I was surprised at how well the chicken took the smoke for only a half hour in wood smoke.

Thanks. It's a cheapie but a goodie. I don't think you can beat Italy, southern France and Spain for great inexpensive food wines.

But it ain't no Grange Hermitage.
