Dr. Chicken Double Smoked Fresh Ham
This fresh ham followed me home yesterday. I wasn't sure how to prepare it so i did a search here and found the recipe for Dr.Chickens Double Smoked Ham with the Sweet Kiss of Death injection recipe.
I had to make another trip to town for the ingredients for the injection but i think that i am on the path to ham nirvana. I made the injection last night and it was almost good enough to pour over ice and drink.:) The ham went on this morning. I plan on cooking today, refrigerating and reheating to serve tomorrow night. I was thinking i would glaze today and again when reheating tomorrow. Any thoughts? jonboy |

Looks great jonboy. That is my favorite and now the only way I cook ham although I have never cooked a fresh ham.
