true, but the new england competitors will be somewhere else. that other contest, now not an auto, would be a "backyard/amateur" event at best, and even that i'm not sure. except for the trophy making.

Ya, maybe. A GC there won't buy you a full tank of gas for your RV though. (I'm sure some people will do both. I may take Father's Day off this year though.)

Not an auto, but would not discount it still being a qualifier. Doesnt seem out of the question (unfortunately) that they will still be able to pull 25 teams.

Would be 50/50. Not many states get those kind of odds.

(of course I am nothing but joking...BBQ Comps are not the same when the welcoming friendly Mike isnt roaming and just being plain nice to everyone...its really a bit disgusting (:>) as its so hard to live up to his example of BBQ brotherhood)

Don't worry, we still have Smokin' Hoggz, Hart Attack, Q Haven, Good Smoke, and more (along with the occasional visit from Cancer Sucks Chicago & 3Eyez) to kick our butts.

(Sorry for those I missed on people that can kick my butt, there are so many )
