It's great to be a part of the this forum. I'm located just north of Detroit in Oak Park Michigan. I started smoking meat around 6 years ago when a friend gave me an Ole Smokey propane smoker and I loved it. Then last year I bought a RF offset from a fabrication shop in the area that builds smokers when they are not busy. Just this last fall I built a traditional offset and have been cooking on it since Oct.
Once I finished my build I immediately wanted to build another cooker so hopefully this will start in the Spring.
