You're All Invited to The 2024 Texas BBQ Brethren Spring Bash on April 6!

Yep! You are all invited to The 2024 Texas BBQ Brethren Spring Bash!!
This year it's on Saturday April 6, 2024.
Starting around 8:00 am and going till about 6:00 pm or later.
It will be at:

Ray Roberts Lake State Park
Isle du Bois Unit, Group Picnic Pavilion 2
100 P W 4137 (Off of FM 455)
Pilot Point, TX 76258
(Texas State Park entrance fee is $7.00 per adult. Exact change recommended)

It’s a great location with nice facilities and easy in and out.
I have rented the large Pavilion with quite a few picnic tables.
There are onsite restrooms, running water at the hose bib along with 120 VAC at the Pavilion.
Please bring your camp chairs and a cooler with your favorite beverages adult or not!
You are more than welcome to invite your family and friends to join us.
Just let us know how many are coming please!

If you would like to bring a cooker that would be great! UDS, Weber, PK, Offset, flat top, Pellet or whatever you got!
If not, we should have space on one of the cookers somewhere if you want to bring something to cook.
Or if you want to bring a side dish and or something else that works also.
And if you just want to hang out, have a few beverages and partake in some great food and Q, well that's OK too.

There is a local campground within the Park area if you would like to bring an RV or pitch a tent.

My thought is if we have a light attendance signed up for the Bash this year, I may just bring my 55 gal Gateway drum and or my Oklahoma Joe Bronco.

Shelly is working on what sides she will be cooking.
I've decided to bring my 24x42 Shirley. We will have plenty of room for others to cook on it.
I just got the new Meat Candy Rub from SuckleBusters. Think I will try it on ribs and fatties.
