I only got 6, but I have charcoal and just wanted to make sure I don't run out this weekend. Well, at least that's what I tell my wife. Between charcoal and pellets I use up shed space fast.

Check my Target in NNJ. They only had KBB..The outdoor section turned into a back to school section.

The wife has no idea how many bags of charcoal it takes to smoke up some butts.

I snoozed on the deal a bit. There were 5 stores around me with 30+ bags each when the price dropped. A couple of days later there were only 2 stores with bags in stock and I got all 22 that they had between them. One store left in the city with 5/6 bags at $9.98.

I would act quickly. The manager at my local Target said they were being prepped to ship out and that is why they had trouble finding them.

manager just sold me 10 bags of Weber charcoal....for $3 per bag....she said take them all and that's all they had.

I was there to buy about 6 bags at $5.98....

LOL

yesterday Brickseek said my local went down to $5.98...i called and price checked and it had not.

But I went in today, and sure 'nuff.....rang up $5.98.

Since she said she'd do $3/bag, i bought all they had....but probably would have stopped at 15 bags...LOL

Was in another target that showed to have zero in stock. They had at least 20. Bought 3 more as we were in my daughter's civic with a trunk full of stuff from shopping so that was all I could fit. I'm at 24. I'm in the lead. Bring it

Opened the lid on my 26er to get it set up for dinner tonight and saw all the coals left from my last cook. After knocking some ash off, all the briquettes were still bigger than Kingsford. Plan was to reheat some vac sucked rib rather KS and grill some NY strip, so I wanted some serious heat. Filled a large chimney 3/4s full and lit it up. Pulled all the unlit coals together covering 1/2 the grate, then dumped the new lit coals on top. Left the lid cracked a bit and 10 mins later, lid therm (which was right above the coals) registered over 650.

Yeah, I need to get more from somewhere.

Well, since it's a contest, when the price first dropped to 5.98 at a couple of local stores, I grabbed 6 bags to test it out. So counting those, I'm at 28 so far [emoji2]
