Ordered. I really enjoy the kettle more than all cookers I’ve had. Made some beef plate ribs last weekend on the kettle. Gave one rib to a neighbor that told me today it was one the best things he’s had in awhile.

DANG IT!!! Been wanting to replace my 26 kettle that I sold before our from CA to TN. This “sale” may just cost me $400+… lol.

For those that have the standard deluxe SNS in a 26’er… are ya happy with the fit? I had the XL before which I friggin’ loved, but it’s a lot more $ than this offer too.

I have both Robb. Very little difference between the 22 and 26. Especially considering these new ones have a removable water reservoir. Picked up my third one and will put the 22sns in my second 26.

Thanks for the heads up Suds!

This will be a major upgrade over my fire bricks. Have been wanting one for a long while, and at this price point I can graduate from the bricks. I really like that now my coals will not be against the kettle bottom. Better for the kettle, and will retain more Btu's inside the cook chamber, thus longer run time with the same fuel load.

Do many of you actually run water, or just use the water pan empty as an additional insulator from the direct heat of the coal bed?

I think I'll join the crowd as well and get one. You need to get a commission from them Suds.

I haven’t ordered one yet…I think I may though. My position in the past was that it seemed to be of limited usefulness compared to something like a charcoal basket, but I also thought the Vortex was kind of gimmicky and I love it now that I have one so my judgement seems questionable in these matters.

Deeds been done… which means I also need to order a 26” kettle to go with it. Thanks a lot Suds… you cost me > $400 with one post ;-)

So we all ordered this thing today including me. But how great does it work versus the snake method? I was watching their vids and they don’t run vents wide open as I do. Should be a fun new learning experience.

If it's on sale it's practicality free...

Yep, better grab 2 or 3 if they’re just giving the stuff away… after all, “oh my gosh, it’s sooooooo cute!” [emoji12]
