I have been wanting to get a kitchen scale for a while, and had planned to go to LnT this morning to pick up one of the usual suspects. However, when I got home last night, my lovely bride had this sitting on the counter:

She said that she picked it up for almost the same price as the home models, but it is NSF certified, more accurate, sturdier, and just looks professional! Man, you gotta love this chick sometimes!

Enjoy your new toy.

I bought one a while ago. Once I realized how much I was eating it went in the closet.

I know better than to weigh what I am going to eat!

Since we are cooking for so many people, we want to make sure that everyone is getting what they pay for. Also, when making very large batches, it is more precise to weigh the ingredients than to use the traditonal measuring cup. Also, you can zero the bowl after adding each ingredient, so that you only mess up one dish!
