I have never seen brisket in California cheaper than $3.50lb...ever.

Tri tips on the other hand...are usually pretty cheap in the summer if you don't mind trimming them.

I could barely find it here in SoCal, and what I could find was $9.99/lb.

At that price grind it up and make 80/20 for way less than what the store sells hamburger meat for

Just picked one up! Will throw it on the BGE tonight (first brisket not on the PBC)! If I had more freezer space, I would've grabbed two. Rib deal is good too.

My receipt said I saved $59 on the brisket. Which means a 13 pound choice brisket was going for over $80!

Yeah I would limit out. Just saw almost $7 per pound here for choice. Usually under $3 per pound. Yikes.

I've got the $2.99/lb for ribs version of the ad in my area.

That's better than normal 'round here.:tsk:

Can't find ground beef here under $5#. Grocery store manager told me when they get ribeyes they will probably be $15.99#.

I am thinking about having them cut me a T-bone into about a 5 ld steak and treating it like a rib roast. I have done it before and it always turns out well.

Here goes nothing. Feels better than the last choice brisket I got there.

The online circular for my local store showed a $1.97/lb for brisket. Went to the store and found out that was a mistake. Still $4/lb
