Heading to McAllen via San Antonio June 24.
Any good eats down that way? Will have to go to Corpus Christi and Victoria later this summer.

If you find some good places, could you please share them here? Probably the only option for my family this summer is to choose the same route for vacation.

A few miles to the East of SA off I-40 is Luling. City Market in Luling was very good Que when I was there a few years ago.
To the North of Luling is Lockhart. I can vouch for Kreuz and Smitty's being good when I was there. The other's are said to be good to. For Mexican, Mi Tierra in SA was good too. Rudy's by Sea World was pretty good the day I was there back then. I hear it's quite variable though.
