A spin on surf 'n turf
Kinda threw this together last minute tonight, so it's a little unconventional as far as surf 'n turfs go, but I wanted to try the BPS Cuckoo Racha rub I picked up today on something. I remembered I had some shrimp in the freezer and some Conecuh hot sausage in the fridge and here we are. I did 2 of the shrimp skewers with the Cuckoo Racha and the rest Himalayan salt + black pepper.
It turned out pretty tasty, I look forward to finding ways to use the Cuckoo Racha since it has such a unique flavor compared to most rubs you'd find on the shelf  The Conecuh sausage was great, as always...probably my favorite sausage out there.

Nice combo for surf and turf.
Conecuh is probably the best store bought sausage I can find.

I like this particular hazy IPA, not all hazy IPA's though. I'm a big fan of IPA's generally and can't get enough hops. This one packs a punch at 7.5% ABV.

I'd climb the highest mountain and swim the deepest sea for that surf and turf plate, but your place is closer!
 Sadly, I've never seen Conecuh sausages on the left coast.
