Plate beef ribs..
Folks, thinking of doing some beef ribs, four bone plate. Would it be better to separate them to individual ribs or smoke as a plate? Thanks, all.

Separate them if you are a fan of bark otherwise leave them whole.

I've only cooked the whole plate. Never thought to split them before.

I've had both separate and whole, and I prefer whole. Separate tend to get more dried out.
