Second TD, and got my first zero! Yes!

I was working, and smoking, and preparing for friends coming over. The chicken tasted great. The photo? Not so much...

Flat Iron steak, cubed up for the FireWire. Soaked in some Mojo Criollo

Red taters chunked up for the Firewire and (not shown) coated with EVOO and some Ted & Barney's.

Taters and some ABTs onto the Kettle.

ABTs were lightly sprinkled with Butcher's Honey BBQ rub

Snack time!

Beef was sprinkled with this when I dropped the Firewires on the Kettle.

Reheating some fries and a hotdog that Tyler didn't eat the day before for his dinner while I got the beef on the fire.

Meat and taters! Please use the shot below as my entry shot...

This was my first time having flat iron steak and it is a winner in my book! So tender and flavorful! Cooked up another for fajitas the next day and they were damn tasty as well!

Not sure if I qualify for this, but the only 2 I've entered only got a single vote and that was from me. So, there were 0 others that voted for my food. Does that count?

If it does, here's the entries:

My first "1/0" Apple

It took me over 3 years to get the courage to try again. And I got anothere "1/0" Try Tri Again

Decided to make up some pulled pork quesadillas with some leftover pulled butt from the opening day of college football. Served it up with spanish rice.

The players: Rice first, quesadillas second

For the rice, I diced up an onion and sauteed it for a bit before browning the rice.

Once the rice was browned...

...I added the broth, half the can of tomatoes, and half the Knorr seasoning.

Whilke that was covered and getting happy, I sauteed some onions and peppers for the quesadillas and heated up the pork.

While the Kettle was getting all fired up, I made up the quesadillas.

Time to throw them on the grill...

All the quesadillas are done...

Rice is done!

Plated my entry shot below with avocado slices and roasted salsa.

This was pretty awesome use of pulled pork! Will do again!
