It is hard here to buy commercial rubs. They are hard to find and very expensive. Does anyone have a homemade rub that works good on ribs?
Thanks

Pyle's BBQ Rib Rub
http://www.bbq-brethren.com/forum/showpost.php?p=2139470&postcount=13
2 cups Brown sugar
1/2 cup Kosher salt
1/2 cup black pepper
1/4 cup ground mustard
1/4 cup granulated garlic
1/4 cup chili powder
Also sometimes I add a little bit of red pepper flakes if I want to add some heat
Add or subtract to your taste. This is a base recipe that is easy to modify. You could add some paprika to get more color on your ribs.
