Full Half Ham - WTF?

So I keep seeing this term in my grocery store:

Full Half Ham.

Is it half of a full ham? Is there a half half ham on three quarters full half ham?

Help me.....Some of our meat savvy brers must know....

I'm not a meatman so just guessing. Usually you see hams either the top of the leg or the bottom. I think your full half is the top and bottom split lengthwise.

My guess is that there are no ham steaks cut from the ham. Thus its the full half.

This is correct. They sell "Center Cut Ham Steaks", and they used to rip them from bargain hams.
