I'll have to look - I made one once where you roasted the tomatos with some rosemary and garlic... the question of which cookbook it was in remains.

Mastercook Software? Hmmm, interesting.

Great thread. I've never thought about making my own. My son is the pickiest 7 year-old in VA but open a can of Campbells Tomato soup and he'll lick the can clean.

yea Mastercook is a recipe software we use in culinary school yes anyone can buy it, but once you have a recipe a click you can change service size it does the math... want that serving size from 5 to 20 click done. you can create shopping list from it and even do any nutritional value stuff for any recipe or meal. I got it with my "on Cooking book" from school.

if anyone is interested

don't worry.. the only soup he'll make is Campbell's poured out of a can. Maybe with some oyster crackers and a grilled cheese sandwich.

your software info actually made this thread useful. Sled may even make a posting about it on his lame blog.

Well, I never!!!

Winter time is soup time. My wife totally gets into new soup making. She will make the soup. If up to me, I'll do Campbells.

Tried a few but wasn't very happy with any of them. A trip to trader joes changed all that. They make an "organic creamy tomato soup" that is low in sodium and gluten free. It comes in a box and is real cheap. I love it. My grilled cheese has never been better after taking a dunk in that stuff
