Default Well it came yesterday - pellet cooker

Well, after years of complaining that pellet people have it easier, I broke down and bought one.

It cam yesterday, it is jsut a Sam's Smith and Weston. I had to charge the auger and cook off the grease yesterday. It is just too easy, flipping a switch.

Tonight I am cooking chicken wings, Sunday I am cooking ribs on it and on my brinkman and doing a side-by-side.

I kind of feel like I am cheating on Selma (my competition cooker).

Good luck with it! I am curious to hear your opinion. I too have a homemade competition smoker and have considered spending the dough on something more efficient.

You're surely not going to use that for competitions, right?

I am going to practice with it. I will probably use Selma for the invitational, since she got me there. So, if I start using it, it will be next year.

One thing about it, it enhances your beer drinking time.
Let me know how it works.

Welcome to the "Dark Side" --- us Pellet Poopers or Tree Turd Burners!

Feel free to experiment with all the wonderful pellet flavors out there.
I have some really interesting results from the different woods.

Have fun.
