Chipotle and cumin are some of my favorite spices to play with. Not a lot with the cumin...just enough to leave people noticing and wonderingHow many like to use a little Cumin?
Espresso infused sea salt and pepper. Add any other two that you like but those are my go to for many cuts of beef.
Does black ops count as a spice?

I have to agree with Mr. Turtle... Keep it simple unless you're doing competition and then do what you must.I don't have 4 favorite brisket spices.
I just do 50/50 by weight of kosher salt and butcher ground pepper (10 mesh)
If you find anything other than that on my brisket, something is wrong with me or I'm at a competition.
