Uncle Bud is there, and if I didn't have karate, baseball practice, and a side job, I'd be there too!

Saw Uncle Bud's stand. Sorry I didn't get to speak to them.We got there just before the judging started, everyone was plating up.It looked pretty intense! Didn't want to interupt... I did get to sample some Q though.

We were there today. I thought the event was good for a first year event. Their going to eventually try for KCBS or FBA sponsorship. This should help attract more attention from teams.

Alan - Sorry we didn't get a chance to talk and thanks for not interrupting during "crunch time". It did get intense as we really wanted a good showing at this one. It must have worked cause we took 5th in chicken, 4th in ribs, 7th in brisket, and 3rd overall.

Next time stop on by on Friday or earlier on Sat. and we can chat.

Dave,
Thanks again for letting me sit in, pitch in and ask lots of questions down at Turner Field. You, Tom, Stuart and Jeff really are great guys.
Congratulations again on 3rd Place Overall! If you ever need hand please give me a call. If I can raise the money for Canton I will compete in the backyard division and with what I learned from you guys probably do very well.
That new UDS worked great!

Congratulations on your trophy too! 3rd place in Backyard is none to shabby for your first comp. In my opinion you took 1st place considering those that placed above you in that category where catering businesses competing in the Backyard Division.

We had fun and executed the cook about as well as I know how to. The judges just didn't like the Q as much as I did. We were between the Right Stuff and Johns Creek teams.

Good talking to Craig- probably will be in touch to hit you up for suggestions. Definitely looking forward to getting some feedback via scoresheets.
