My SV cooker had an unplanned meeting with the kitchen floor, the small plastic tabs that hold the end cap/pump housing in place were broken off. I sourced high temp food safe tape to repair it, some of it was more expensive than the cooker. Then I remembered reading the specs on 3M Super 33+ electric tape that I frequently use at work, high temp rating 220° F. I did the repair 3 months ago, making sure I didn't block the pump outlet. No signs of peeling or failure. The upper ring of tape is an easy to see low water level mark. I do have to remove the stick in order to remove/install the clamp but it ain't rocket surgery.P1000053.jpg

As the old saying goes "If it can't be fixed with tape or superglue, it can't be fixed"
