I have found I don’t like the Costco back loin ribs as they contain too much loin meat. I greatly prefer the Trader Joe’s baby backs as they are smaller and all rib meat. However, last time I was there they were $15/rack. Does Restaurant Depot or Cash and Carry offer smaller racks without all the loin meat? And other suggestions? Looking for something more economically and just freeze. Thanks!

I switched to spares for the same reason. A few weeks ago my wife wanted baby backs so I remembered Adams saying he always picks the smallest package. I did the same at Sams and found they were not as big and overly meaty as I remembered.

If you have a GFS (gordon food service)
Check there. Not to bad pricing.
Around here they carry a couple of different brands. I'd suggest GFS brand.
And they typically carry 3 different weights/thickness. 2.25, 1.75 and 1.5 per slab.
Sometimes even 2.5 lbers which are really thick.
RD (when I shopped there) carried 2 weights of babybacks typically.

Doesn’t look like they are out west. Thanks for the suggestion though!

Same that’s why I only buy St Louis style.

Costco business centers have a cut called “short cut” St Louis for like $2.29lb.

It has a few bones cut off one end
