Default Asian Inspired Tri tip Dinner (pron)

I went to the store this morning to pick up some ribs and chicken for tomorrow. As I was walking down the meat counter, I came across this.

I said to myself: Self, that looks like dinner, so I got it. I decided to go with an Asian theme for dinner so I marinated it in some Soy Vay Teriyaki marinade for about 3 hours. Then I coated it generously with some of my rub. It was now ready for the grill.

While it was cooking, I made a Thai Cabbage Salad with a Thai Chili Garlic Sauce Vinaigrette. When it was done, let it rest for about 10 minutes before slicing.

And then it was time to eat. I got sidetracked and overcooked it a bit, but it still tasted mighty good.

Since I know how SoyVay and Tri-tip tastes, I know it tasted great. Nice cook.
