Man, one of the small events I wanted to go since I came here. Kids have the flu though. I think you do another cook as well in the spring?
Kid eating chicaron. We got bags from the farmers market to also chop and mix with the hog.

Pig done in about 10hrs. 6 of 8 briskets off. Chicken done around 12. Then off to drive with piggy down the highway on the smoker [emoji3]
About to drive to the place with hog in tow.

So last year at a different location we made sure to bring the appropriate tarps. This year they setup a kill room for us ahead of time. Fully tarped.

Event was great. We were pretty busy getting stuff ready and then talking to all the people that came into the kill room to see the hog and have some samples right from it so I didn't get as many pictures as I'd want :-D. It was fun having a great setup like that. The host house was pretty awesome.
While everyone loved everything, oddly my pulled chicken was the thing people were asking the recipe for along with my beans and slaw. The smoked gouda corn Eric made also got crushed and we ran out of that. Lot of meat leftovers for everyone to take home.
I think this picture is my favorite and sums up the event........I look confused as to what we are doing and the gentleman watching Eric is questioning why he is violating that brisket and if we actually know anything about bbq :becky:.
And here are the rest of the random pics I got
