OK guys - here are pics from my unboxing of my new Assassin 48 Grill today.

It was MUCH, MUCh, MUCH easier than my LSG, and was easily accomplished with just myself. It was an enjoyable process, and kudos to Jeff and his team at Assassin for the way they packaged it up.

This grill is a beast. I love it. It's beautiful. Did I mention it's a beast?

Here it is in the garage this morning waiting for me to have at it:

They used these metal brackets that were screwed in all around the crate making it easy to open in a controlled manner with just a powered screwdriver.

Here I am peeking in the top when I got it off. Hello new Grill!!

Finally Free!!!!

I used a piece from the crate to create a bridge to fill the gap in the crate to roll it over.

I used a piece from the crate to create a ramp to roll it off.

Here it is with its new LSG PeeWee.

Nice pair! Great decision to get the pee-wee and assassin. :thumb:

You will love this grill. Had one since April and use it every weekend. You can do just about anything with it. Enjoy your new toys!

Congratulations...

I gotta get one to go with my assassin 24. Awesome looking grill.

Very nice addition! Your garage is too clean though!

That is a serious smoking arsenal! Jealousy is putting it mildly.

Does that assassin 48 make a good smoker?

I don't know. I just unboxed it today.

Inaugural cook is going to be some short rib reversed seared for main, and for appetizer some naan bread slightly charred on the grill to be crispy outside and doughy inside, brushed in olive oil (only the good stuff), and some imported POD Greek Feta cheese crumbled on top.

That's a great looking machine! Now let's see it full of meat!
