Hotch...... what do think about having name tags that we can fill out with our profile name and actual name? I can bring such if you think it would be worthwhile.

Gonna miss you guys by 5 days. I'll be arriving in TX from KSA on the 27th for a much needed 2-week sanity break.

Whenever I get relocated back in TX - wife and I will be hitting all the TX bashes!

Yep, I'll be there with breakfast.

Edit: Hey, while I'm thinking about it, can anybody give an old Performer that needs some TLC a home? It's one of the ones with propane assist, but the knob to make the propane flow is stuck. Also I melted one of the rubber thingies in the lid holder. But as a 22" kettle with an attached table and charcoal holder, it works just fine. I'm just not using it anymore since I bought a 26" kettle. If you've got a way to transport it home (will need a truck or SUV or something) and want it, I'll bring it and it's yours.

Well boys and girls we are going to try something new, for us anyway.
Bacon wrapped tater tots with jalapenos and brushed with jalapeno jelly.
I know some of you may have had this before but I have not, And of course that means I've not cooked them. So this will be new for the R&V Deep Fryer.

Just picked up a couple racks of ribs and all the fixins for a smoked apple pie. Also read off the menu to wife and that basically solidified her attendance.

Found a little private RV park on a secluded little lake outside of Boyce, LA, an hour and a half south of Shreveport. 755 miles & 11-1/2 hours of wheel time, looking good for early afternoon it Ray Roberts.

FYI, I got a PM from cyberstrategist earlier and looks like he will be attending with his little one. So round up the kiddos and throw them in the bed of the truck.
Everybody is welcome to attend!!
