Beer Keg Smoker tips?
I have built me a beer keg smoker -- very much like this one here:
http://www.huntingdoncocustoms.com/h...er--grill.html Anybody have one of this basic design? I am looking for some tips on cooking with it. I had my first run yesterday, but overfueled and it was waaaay hot. (It was a trial run, no meat...) What is your best fuel and loading? Lump? How much? How often do you need to add? |

Even with the intakes nearly closed? If you're burning a nice clean fire closing the exhaust a bit would help keep temps down. But only close down exhaust if the intakes didnt do the trick.
