Default Bacon Biscuit Breakfast

Made another batch of bacon biscuits n sausage gravy while camping at the lake. It's turning into one of my favorite camp breakfasts, it's fast and easy.

It was a really nice morning..

Got the fire going...

started browning the sausage for the gravy...

made biscuits while the sausage browned..

rolled out the biscuit dough..

slathered with bacon drippin's and sprinkled with crisp bacon...

rolled and sliced...

added flour and spices to the browned sausage...

made the gravy...

topped the gravy with bacon biscuits...

into the tractor tire rim...

added a shovel full of hot coals and let er go...

took about 30 minutes..

The biscuit sittin' on sausage gravy...

Enjoyed the bacon biscuits and gravy that morning. It's one of those easy breakfasts after a late night of solving the world's problems by the campfire. :)

Thanks for looking!

Oh Stop! NO Don't Stop!
Love that calm water with a line in.
I still say you need your own TV show or Podcast.

I'd just like to see a picture of your cookware collection. It seems like you have more than I could fit in my kitchen.

I have a lot of cast iron. Inherited from my mom when she passed away.
