In progress bbq burrito cook

The "bbq burrito" throwdown is currently taking place in the throwdown section. Sako made an insane epic burrito to kick it off, so I have been throwing around ideas all week that would make an epic bbq burrito. I even enlisted the help of my son who had some damn good suggestions.
Currently marinating some carne asada. My son said why not put some shrimp in so got shrimp marinating also.

Now taking time for an adult beverage. Tequila, squirt, mineral water and fresh lime juice. Very refreshing and not overly sweet. More to come.....

Ranchera sauce. Onions, tomatoes, garlic, Anaheim chiles, hatch chiles, cilantro, red and green bell pepper, salt and pepper.

All done. I took a bunch of pics, will go through them tomorrow to pick the best one for the throwdown. All I can say was this burrito was farking delicious. I never make burritos at home. We make plates of food with tortillas on the side. Although there was a lot going on it all came together exceptionally. The shrimp was marinating in a tequila lime marinade, it came out great. I am very full, tired, and want to call out to work tomorrow.
The burrito had beans, rice, carne asada, chorizo, shrimp and fresh salsa. Topped with ranchera sauce and cheese, then thrown under the broiler. Guacamole and sour cream on the side.
