Tin Eats chicken shawarma was probably the first recipe I copied from this site and it has been a favorite every since. We decided to turn it up a notch by baking our own pita bread to go with it. Misses took care of that in the afternoon using a pizza stone in the oven.
After our workday was over, decided we needed a little drink and headed to the backyard. It was a bit chilly so I fired up the Weber Fire pit. And then thought, F#CK it, I'm gonna cook the chicken over the pit. When all was said and done, this came out again as a winner. The homemade bread was spot on and delicious. Lephtover bread went into the freezer for next time.
