Tin Eats chicken shawarma was probably the first recipe I copied from this site and it has been a favorite every since. We decided to turn it up a notch by baking our own pita bread to go with it. Misses took care of that in the afternoon using a pizza stone in the oven.

After our workday was over, decided we needed a little drink and headed to the backyard. It was a bit chilly so I fired up the Weber Fire pit. And then thought, F#CK it, I'm gonna cook the chicken over the pit. When all was said and done, this came out again as a winner. The homemade bread was spot on and delicious. Lephtover bread went into the freezer for next time.

Perfection! There's just something awesome about chicken Shawarma and yours turned out great.

Dom, I think I got this from one of your posts, I know you have posted this same recipe a couple of times.
 
Got that recipe and am looking forward to it, also the Gyro (Yee-Roh) recipe is another I will try.
