Assuming you’re referring to a Boston butt and not a rear end, that’s fine. Any part of a shoulder is allowed.

I wondered the same thing when this was posted, so I looked it up. Chicken shoulder is a real thing, prized by the Japanese. It's the area between the wing and the breast, near as I can figure out.

The oyster is above the thigh.
There isn't a shoulder muscle like a pigs on a bird. It's called the supracoracoideus and passes under the breast. Labeled S here. It's what I've always heard call the chicken tender. So you'll have to take this up with R2Egg2Q and Moose, Ninja.
