While I was cooking breakfast on the BS 36 this morning, I thought that some grits would have been nice to go along with the bacon, ham and cheese omelettes, hash browns and English muffins I had going.

I have used a pan directly on the griddle before, but for melting butter or warming a sauce, never for actually cooking.
Also, a pan of grits, or whatever, would take up some serious real estate on the cooktop.
My griddle lives in the garage, so it's not convenient to use the side burner on the gasser outside and it's a long way to the kitchen.
I've thought about using my propane Coleman stove, but I was wondering if anyone had integrated a side burner onto a flat top.

Thoughts?

The three burner camp chef with a griddle that covers only two of the burners works great for this

Gorilla Grills has the new Primate coming out. If they could make an optional side burner for this, I would replace my Genesis and Camp chef with it. It’s a pretty sweet looking grill and griddle combo unit as is.
