I Got up early over the weekend and made some homemade salted caramel cinnamon rolls for my daughters and wife.
Thought to myself hay I got the smoker fired up getting ready to do a rib cook so I tossed these cinnamon rolls into the smoker to cook as I prepped the ribs.
Turned out pretty delicious.

You know my granny used to do just that with breakfast rolls and old fashion potato peanut butter roll candy.

I think I will talk to her and try it next time.

Brother Hamdrew is referring to if I think I understand him correctly.
Old timers in the south used to NOT waste anything especially food as most family's grew up pretty poor.
So they would take leftover mashed potato's and incorporate in things like rolls, candy and cakes.

My granny used to do this even still when I was young.

Thanks Hamdrew for sparking up memories of this I will be asking my granny about this soon and will be doing this next time for sure.
