Sounds like online ordering from Penzey's in particular is a forum favorite.

Now I just need to find some of those big, plastic shakers to store everything in.

Thanks for the replies everyone!

If I was doing bulk, I would probably use Penzeys. Although we have a place called Santos Spice Company here in San Leandro, that does a lot of commercial spice sales.

It depends, If I need something quick I jut swing by the grocery store. If I want larger sizes I'll go to Penzeys, Sam's or gfs.

I get mine at the local farmer's market. Best prices by far in the metro-Atlanta area.

I go to Costco! I get the "McCormick Gourmet" spices in large containers there and they have great prices on them! I've gotten smoked paprika, coarse black pepper, chili powder, red pepper flakes and lots more and they average from about $4.00 to about $6.00 each based on size but they're all much larger than what you get at the grocery store.

+1 for Penzeys, I'm fortunate enough to have a store locally but you can order online.

ok I just did a quick check at the Penzys website and My Spice Sage

I looked for Turbinado Sugar since I order it from My Spice. Its a pretty popular sugar to use in rubs. And its free shipping on orders $10 or more, less than $10 there is a $3 fee.

I do not see it on the Penzys site?

This place does mail order (and, I believe, Amazon) but they are only about 20 minutes from me. I stop by fairly often and pick up my stranger spices from them. Super nice folks and they carry an amazing array of spices and powders.
