Where is the best place (manufacturer) to buy a bbq trailer?

It really depends on what you want; ie a competition style trailer, a catering trailer setup for vending and permits for a business, or just a smoker on a trailer.

I'd recommend checking out Southern Dimensions Group as they make some fantastic trailers, but they are a bit pricey. I was in talks with them for a while when I was starting up my BBQ food trailer business, and they were easy to work with. Ultimately I decided to buy just the trailer shell from WOW Cargo Trailers (Cochran, GA), and have all the sinks / plumbing / electrical done in South Carolina.

Here's a couple of links which might help you. MOST of this stuff is down in GA, so you'd either have to make the trip yourself or have it shipped to your location.

Another way is to go through a smoker fabricator if you're planning on having a trailer built with a smoker. Johnson Smokers does custom trailer builds as part of their BBQ fabrication business.

If your looking for a quality trailer that will withstand the toll of travelling up and down the road, then I'd suggest looking at Double R trailers in Nampa, ID. That's what I ended up buying after researching most of the manufacturers, including the Texas and Georgia ones. Most of the ones I looked at would be fine if you only plan to use it locally but if you want to travel with it, then you should look at the quality of them. If you can afford a top notch trailer, also consider an ATC.
