I'm a Navy guy transplanted from Kansas City to the east coast. I got so tired of less than acceptable BBQ so i bought a Lone Star Grillz insulated vertical smoker. I set it up with a BBQ Guru CyberQ, a battery backup that lasts the entire cook, and monitor it with the Pit Pal app on my iPhone. I'm still a rookie, but my food is already better than anything I can find locally.
