I would love to see this grill in a table with a propane charcoal starter like their preformer. I called them and there is no such animal yet and you know if I buy one it will come out the following year!
There are currently no plans from Weber to have the 26inch kettle as anything more than it is.

I've got one of the 26.75" weber OTG and it is a thing of beauty. I don't know that I'd want it as a performer style, it is pretty big.
